Jones: The Fall Of Mueller Is Here

If what Alex is saying is true (which can be a big “if’ with his recent track record), then President Trump should not hesitate to fire Mr. Mueller. He has nothing to lose in doing so now – let the Democrats defend a corrupt special counsel. Let the American people see their twisted logic.

If they remove President Trump on, well, trumped-up charges – the Deep State will be permanently exposed to anyone with half a brain.

Sunday Wisdom: Moves And Countermoves

I often equate the current battle between President Trump and the combined forces of The Deep State (which, as evidenced again this week, includes most if not all of the mainstream media) as a game of chess. Sometimes in a game of chess, there’s a flurry of moves that take place rapidly, and in this “game” we may be entering such a point.

The recent hiring of former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani seemed a strange move to some, most wondering why the President would hire someone who’s known for being a prosecutor and not a defender. I think that’s exactly why Mr. Trump wants him there – not just to ensure that the Russian collusion “witch hunt” closes, but to see that those who rigged the system to accuse the President, to begin with, are getting their date with justice.

It’s unclear what will start the “chain” of moves, but once it gets going, it’ll be obvious that wheels are turning, to use a baseball analogy when a lot of substitutions are made at the same time. For one, the media keeps daring Mr. Trump to fire special counsel Robert Mueller, with even GOP congressmen and senators seeming to threaten the President not to do it if he doesn’t want to face the specter of impeachment.

(To my friends on the left who use the word “impeachment” often – you do understand that impeachment is not removal from office in itself, and thus shouldn’t really be the goal, correct? We just did this a couple of decades ago, so I don’t understand how it could have been forgotten so quickly – the House impeaches, the Senate holds a trial to determine removal if two-thirds of the Senate convicts.)

I could see a chain of events going something like this:

  • After a month or two more of foot-dragging by the special counsel, President Trump basically says “the hell with it” and fires Mueller, maybe deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein too. This probably causes Attorney General Jeff Sessions to quit as well.
  • Several congressmen and senators express their outrage all over TV, threatening to impeach the POTUS. Trump goes on TV and basically, I’m the President until 67 senators say I’m not. He invites supporters across the country to join him in D.C. in a support rally, and over a million attend. Despite last-minute rumors of terrorism at the event – the people come out in droves.
  • As part of the President’s continued “charm” offensive, he addresses the country again after the rally (giving the media short notice and no advance information as to what the speech will be about) and details the crimes Democrats under Obama have committed, including the now rumored pedophilia scandal involving Hillary Clinton, in what becomes known as his “red pill” speech. He concludes by saying if Congress still wants to fire me – take your best shot, the people are behind me. That leaves most of the media speechless and forces them to cover what they’ve been hiding for fear of completely losing credibility.
  • Meanwhile, the NXIVM sex-cult scandal goes onward, with names being bandied about including prominent Hollywood figures and several key politicians on both the DNC and GOP sides. Mr. Trump doubles down on his notion to “drain the swamp” even if it means draining out his “own” side to do it.
  • After all of this, the midterm elections are a breeze for Trump, picking up significant gains in the House and Senate. His approval rating goes over 65 percent, even in the more liberal-slanted polls.

Now, this is just one of many scenarios that could take place. Each event has a few possibilities, so something playing out exactly as I entailed is very much a long shot. But clearly, moves are about to play out – it’s just a matter of how, why, and what.
